I've gotten tired of screenshot wallpapers and have been working on branching out from traditional art media to digital painting, so after a number of attempts (some quasi-failures, call them hits or misses) I think I'm heading in the right direction so I'm pleased to present to you the collection:
Gallente: Linkage
Amarr: Linkage
Caldari: Linkage
Minmatar (this is what I considered a quasi-failure... might rework it ): Linkage
(because I felt so bad about the Minmatar... I went and did a second one): Linkage
Suggestions are good, useful criticism welcome too; donations of course are very welcome, however don't take this as an advertisement for business or anything... these take some time to do and like I said... I'm still getting a handle on the digital media.
And who knows, like me, you might just be tired of screenshot wallpapers too.

Ah... you'd found it - I was posting them to my deviantart page while I was finishing up and happy with this "set".

Yes - Painter X (95% of it) with a wacom graphics tablet, and a lot of layers.
Thanks to all who've replied, especially the critiques - after x hours I get sucked into the portrait work and the Eve theme seems secondary. I'll work on doing the racial 'themes' some justice in the second set (think I have to at this point).
Who knows... I might even throw in a templar just for chuckles.

Think I'm just going to do the next series in widescreen so I'd say hang tight for the next set (don't own one; partly I was designing wallpapers for myself you see...).
So what's a typical size for widescreen? guess around 1920x1200?
